Early Afternoon Open Koop is doing nothing more then taking a walk through the foothills but is he completely alone?
Three toed feet slowly drove their way through the vegatation. The skull cloaked head of the visitor had a goofy smile on his face as always. Today was one of the few days his twin brother wasn't tagging right along beside him, and he felt empty somehow. Already he missed the echoing replies in a voice almost identical to his own. "Oh well, can't be helped I mean the cave was pretty dirty after all. Some one had to clean it right?" When Koop recieved no echoing reply he sighed. At least he was in one of his favorite places to think, although he did that seldomly. Lost in thought Kop tripped forward as his long femur club hit thin air., and clattered loudly against a stone.
"Really now Koop watch where your going!" The cubone admonished himself with a shake of his head. Taking a deep breath, and praying for the absence of brambles, he allowed his small green frame to fall backwards into a nice soft clump of moss. Not even seeming to notice as echoes rang through his head, the moss merely covered up the small jagged ocks beneath, but those had no way of breaking and shattering his faithful helmet.
Black eyes slowly trailed upward a happy sigh escaping his lips. The blue sky was so beautiful! What a privelege it was to be nderneath it, but what a even greater privelege it must be to fly through it! Through his vision he watched half asleep as the clouds zoomed by, seeming to take on new shapes as they did so. All of this was very entertaining to the young Cubone. LOOK! A nidoran, and a charizard, and that one sort of looks like a flying bird..really small for a cloud though. Dreaming or awake the last concept was hard to prove true, seeing as whatever he had seen in the clouds was now invisible, replaced by another puff of dense water vapor. The easily distracted cubone soon forgot about it and turned his head to a very unintimadating circular cloud.

The grass rustled. A red glow threw itself across the tarnished moss. A Cubone, it appeared; unsuspecting, young, and innocent. The three-fingered hand pressed harder against the ground. Calm down, of course… Come here to disturb my territory, I see. Calm down? Nonsense. replied the voice, echoing in his strained head. Blinking two eyes, one purple, the other entirely red, the figure moved through the sharp rocks and moss, advancing on the Cubone lying in front of him.
The scar slashing through his left eye still hurt, pulsed with regret and anger. Perhaps the fact that it was red, red because of the still lost blood moving through his veins, was why it was only that color… glowing red. No pupil, no iris, no nothing. Just… red. He lifted through the air, incomplete tail lashing through the air. It would be very easy, he thought, to rid the Pokemon of his life. The Cubone’s very presence annoyed him; why come here, where it was very obvious most Pokemon were warned not to step? There had been countless rumors of what lied in the foothills… perhaps this little one didn’t realize the obvious danger. Either that, or he was completely stupid.
Then I will toy with him… Calm. Of course. Rising through the cold and damp air, the creature remained silent, blue orbs of telepathic light dancing along the ground as he lifted. He remained calm. He only wanted to have a bit of fun… and perhaps give the Pokemon something to blather on about with his friends. That would get everyone talking; talking of the strange thing seen in the foothills. And what, I wonder, would they do then…
Purple shoulderplates rising and falling with his steady intake of breath, he stopped, floating but inches away from the Cubone’s line of vision. Should I be doing this? he thought. There was a silence as the Cubone talked to himself, a small pebble tumbling down the hill. The answer, it seemed, was immediate. Yes…
With a quick flash of red light, he was floating inches away from the Cubone’s helmet, shadowy form blocking the Pokemon’s line of sight from the clouds to himself. “I wonder, little one,” he spoke, voice monotone and frightening, “…have you ever seen a cloud that looked like…” he trailed off, blood red eye magnetized to the Pokemon lying in front of him. “…this?”
Mewtwo glared, tail lashing from side to side. Calm… Yes… he had to leave. With a tarnished frown, the legendary Pokemon relented, circling the Cubone one last time before he shot into the air. Soon enough, the only indication that he had been there at all was a small pebble, tumbling down the foothills. Plop… plop… plop…
